Reverend Horton Heat with DIRTFOOT @ The BlueBird 01.30.2011

The Reverend  put on a grand show last night! Always one of my favorite psychobilly bands of all time. Bales of Cocaine,  Psychobilly Freak Out , It's Martini Time, and Big Red Rocket of Love were some of the songs  on the play list .I don't think there is any song they do that I don't like. Jimbo can throw a bass around like no other and the Rev never ceases to amaze me.

It has been a while since I have run into a band that makes me want to run out and buy every CD they have produced.
 Shreveport, Louisiana's DIRTFOOT is one of them. They are currently touring with the Reverend Horton Heat. Which I might add, couldn't have picked a better opening act.
All I can say is amazing , full of energy and amazing talent! This  is really a band you can't miss.
The six member ensemble  classify  themselves as gypsy punk country grumble boogie .I would say that is right on the money. Go check them out !
